   Lunch Club

The Luncheon Club came into being in 1996 with the initial aim of bringing together members who did not normally 'lunch' and to give them an informal, socially stimulating monthly date on the calendar.

The first Luncheon was held in the Conservatory (now the Swans Nest) at the Three Swans Hotel on 21 February 1996 with 15 members present. The group has now grown to some 40 members, with a reserve list of people who are invited to join us when any member is unable to attend.

We are quite a noisy crowd, but I think I can honestly say that it's great fun and we all enjoy ourselves.

The big 'event' of the year is the special Christmas Luncheon, with an excellent choice of Menu, which is held in the Signet Room. On this occasion we can cater for 50 people and invite non-members to join us to make up the full quota.
